Description

Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, which treat half a million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians.


This is a full time 12 hour Day shift (M-F). The current Lead OR position is on the Spine team.
The lead will not have direct reports. The spine lead will work with other leads of the service to ensure needs of service are addressed. They are responsible for knowing all services at Green while mostly being assigned in Spine rooms.

The lead will be responsible for helping train staff to the Ortho spine service line and work with leadership to address issues and problem solve.

Scripps Green offers a wide range of clinical and surgical services, including organ transplantation, oncology care, cardiothoracic and orthopedic surgery, interventional cardiology and blood and bone marrow transplantation.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:


  • Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Three (3) years or more of nursing experience, with 1 year within OR specialty
  • One (1) year of recent surgery experience including Spine, Ortho, General, Urology, and Vascular
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:


  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Leadership or Charge experience
  • Three (3) years of recent surgery experience including Spine, Ortho, General, Urology, and Vascular
  • CNOR preferred

Position Pay Range:
$59.75-$84.35/hour
