Plasma cutting is a process that cuts through electrically conductive materials by means of an accelerated jet of hot plasma. Typical materials cut with a plasma torch include steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass and copper, although other conductive metals may be cut as well. They are working with Amada equipment, but any background with the machinery is a plus They will be working with materials and placing them organized on racks or pallets for them to be taken to the shipping/receiving department.
This person will only be operating the plasma cutting machine - not doing physical plasma cutting (basically uploading code and pressing the button for the machine to run) Therefore, they will not need a hood or gloves.
