Maintenance Repair Worker
A large not for profit organization in Newark is seeking a full time, experienced maintenance staff member responsible for multiple sites which provides daily and emergency janitorial, maintenance and repair work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that the properties are kept in top condition at all times;
- Address general maintenance and repairs improvements
- Operating machinery, equipment and supporting systems at all commercial and residential properties
- Repair projects including identifying the needs of the properties: Plumbing, and Painting
- General Building Floor Care: (dust/wet mopping/ stripping and waxing)
- Gardening
- Planting, weeding and leaf removal
- Snow Removal shoveling and salting
- Providing response in emergencies as needed;
- This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be allinclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management may deem necessary.
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a similar role with a good work history ;
- Possess plumbing, carpentry, and electrical skills/experience;
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs;
- Mechanically inclined, highly organized and detail oriented;
- Reliable, courteous, friendly, hardworking and professional;
- Must be available to assist in afterhours emergency situations;
- Must be available to work various hours.

High School Diploma required
License:
Drivers License required
Salary:
$41,600.00
