We are currently seeking a Catholic employee (m/f/d) for our Media and Communication Department, Information and Public Relations Division, to start as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:


  • Conceptualization, establishment and systematization of internal communication in the Archdiocese of Cologne at the news desk, as well as development of organizational structure and processes
  • Creation of a thematic annual plan for internal communication in the Archdiocese of Cologne
  • Management of a diocesanwide interactive portal for employees: expansion of the intranet at the diocesan level, editorial management of this portal, as well as evaluation and controlling
  • News desk editorial and information management: research of information, topics and content, target group and mediaappropriate preparation, management of freelance employees, as well as evaluation and controlling of information distribution
  • Briefings, drafts and ghostwriting for the executive level
  • Participation in crisis communication according to the crisis communication concept

Your profile:


  • Completed (university) degree (Master/Diploma) in journalism, German studies or communication sciences, or equivalent qualification
  • Professional experience in the mentioned field of responsibilities is desirable
