  • Job Description:
  • We are seeking a detailoriented and organized Job Coordinator to join our team and oversee the logístical aspects of our installation projects in the Phoenix metropolitan area. As a Job Coordinator, you will be responsible for project breakdowns, scheduling, work order generation, labor assignment, billing and ensuring the timely and successful completion of projects while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Order Fulfillment and Billing:
  • Track project readiness using construction milestones provided by Field Managers. Prioritize jobs based on stage of construction.
  • Breakdown projects into building, floor plan, unit and material type. Utilizing sequence sheets and Field Managers input, generate work orders according to departmental SLA's.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of work orders based on Field readiness or Customer preferences.
  • Communicate project timelines, any issues or delays, and milestones to subcontractors, and internal teams as needed.
  • Work with Inventory Analyst to ensure product is sourced and ready to meet installation schedule.
  • Track completed work and ensure billing is completed timely. Transmit billing to Customers as required and reconcile any margin variances to plan.
  • Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams regarding project scheduling, updates, and any questions or concerns that may arise.
  • Provide regular progress reports to internal teams, keeping them informed of project status and addressing any deviations from the original plan.
  • Act as a liaison between all internal teams to facilitate communication and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of projectrelated information, including contracts, permits, change orders, and correspondence with clients and subcontractors.
  • Generate and distribute reports on project progress, resource utilization, and budget variance to management and stakeholders as required.
  • Assist with billing and invoicing processes by verifying completed work and reconciling project costs against budget estimates.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred).
  • Previous experience in project coordination, construction management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the flooring, countertop, or window covering industry is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
