Intech is looking for a dedicated Packaging & Shipping Associate to join our team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless flow of our operations by meticulously preparing, processing, and packaging outgoing shipments.

Upholding the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency will be your primary focus as you navigate our quality focused environment.

Attention to detail is important as you will be expected to meticulously handle every aspect of the shipping process for our Medical and Manufacturing Customers

Responsibilities will include:

Careful custom packaging of small parts in custom fit boxes and hand built crates to insure product integrity throughout the shipping process.
Materials inspection and preparation, where attention to detail and precision is crucial.
Quality control checks on all in process parts.
Final packaging and crating of outgoing shipments.
Process, verify and ship orders using UPS, FedEx, DHL and LTL Carriers.
Safely operate forklifts to load and unload trucks, prioritizing the safety of yourself and others.
Maintain a clean and wellorganized shipping area to enhance safety and efficiency in operations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Qualityminded with strong attention to detail. Able to use micrometer and other measuring implements accurately.
Strong technical aptitude needed for interpretation of drawings for inprocess quality control.
Selfstarter who can work with little daily supervision.
Problemsolver with ability to prioritize and focus on task.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to read and interpret written work orders.
Familiar with power tools and hand tools.
Ability to lift heavy objects.
