Our firm practices in a wide array of areas including business, real estate, probate, estate planning, and workers compensation and social security law.
Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents related to corporate and real estate transactions, including leases, purchase agreements, financing agreements, and corporate governance documents.
- Provide legal advice to clients on matters involving corporate structure, mergers and acquisitions, commercial leases, property acquisitions and sales, and real estate development.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various corporate and real estate issues to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff to manage case files and ensure timely progress.
- Represent the firm and its clients in negotiations, mediations, and transactional meetings.
- Keep clients informed of case developments and legal options.
- Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and expand the firm's corporate and real estate practice areas.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Maine with good standing in the state bar association.
- Strong understanding of the legal framework governing corporate and real estate matters.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Detailoriented with a commitment to high quality legal work.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with real estate and corporate document drafting
- Experience with residential and commercial real estate closings
- Proficiency in legal research software and tools.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
How to Apply:

$60, $100,000.00 per year
