Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team.

The Material Handler will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and handling of materials within the warehouse or production facility.

This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of materials, supporting production schedules, and maintaining inventory accuracy.


Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.

Unload materials from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.

Properly label and store materials in designated locations.

Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.

Rotate stock to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.

Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.

Ensure the safe and efficient handling of materials, avoiding damage and loss.

Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Update inventory records in the system accurately and timely.

Report low stock levels and assist in reordering materials as needed.

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Comply with company policies and procedures, including those related to quality and environmental standards.


Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Basic computer skills for inventory management.

Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.

Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and maintaining records.

Pay:
$ $24.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
