Description
Duties includes:
- Provide direct care to patients in a home or healthcare setting
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient behavior and implement behavior management techniques as needed
- Assist with social work systems and connect patients with appropriate resources
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Skills needed:
- Experience in patient care or caregiving role preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration and basic medical procedures
- Familiarity with nursing home or assisted living facility operations
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy rights
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics
