This individual will travel between Northlake 60148 & Elk Grove Village 60007
$30/hr to $35/hr.
Day Shift : $30hr
Night Shift : $35hr
6am – 6pm day
4pm – 4am night shift
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Must Have Skills:
1-3 years' of IT experience
Data center knowledge – racking, stacking, cabling, decommissioning, installing...
Able to swap out computer network cable
Able to perform hard drive replacements
Flexible to do any and every task
Hard worker with a "doer," self-starter, positive, & energetic attitude
Able to follow security standards
Composite or steel toe boots
Day-to-Day Summary:
Our client is moving into two new data centers and will need help with anything and everything that goes along with opening a new DC- including, but not limited to: cabling, racking, stacking, setting up computers, installations (troubleshooting not necessary), operating hand trucks, unboxing, decommissioning and packing items up, shelf assemble, building out the storage room...Other responsibilities could include:
