Description

The Bartender possesses the highest comprehension of our food and beverage menus, and is ultimately responsible for providing present, proper, refined service.

RESPONSIBILITIES_

- _Serve_s_ as the primary guide for each and every guest both at the bar, and in the dining room_
- _Is responsible for preparing all spirits, beer, wine and cocktai_ls to our recipes and standards_ _
- _Responsible to guide bar guests through the menu, recommend_ing food and beverage pairings_
- _Highlight_s house_ specialties_
- _T_akes and inputs orders correctly_
- _Maintain_s_ a comfortable_ and clean bar top_
- _Graciously and_ properly handles payment_ _
- _Responsible for knowing the food and beverage options available, while also being able to describe the items to the guests and answer questio_ns they may have about the menu_
- _With the support of the bar back and running staff, the Bartender is equipped to deliver the style of service expected of any Garc_es restaurant_
- _Ability to have a friendly demeanor_ when present in the restaurant_
- _Must be able to follow _written and verbal instructions_
- _Ability to work in a fast paced atmosphere while k_eeping a professional demeanor_
- _Ability to follow specific beverage recipes according to Garces _Group standards_
- _Ability to stand or walk during _an entire 8-10 hour shift_
- _Must be able to perform other related tasks designated from the management_

QUALIFICATIONS
- _Previous Bartending_ experience_ strongly preferred_ _
- _High School diploma or GED required_
- _Minimum of 6 months of customer service, retail sales, or food service experience preferred_
- _Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner_
- _Must be able to lift plates up to 20 lbs_, _approximately 20 _feet sometimes involving stairs_
