Description
Employee who informed me that she wanted to resign, but did not notify me in writing. She told me that if I could do her unemployment paperwork and on March 6, at the end of her shift, I informed her that I could not do it without paying compensation and that since she was the one who wanted to leave, I was not going to pay said compensation. The next day she took sick leave and says she has hired a labor advisor, who has contacted my manager and threatens with long-term sick leave due to depression or negotiate for me to pay her client and do her unemployment paperwork. Basically, it's a clear case of blackmail. Initially, they told me it was due to severe headaches, but her advisor told my manager it was due to depression.
