We are currently seeking a strategic purchaser with a technical background (m/f/d) for a leading company in the technical sector in the greater Detmold area:

Strategic Purchaser with Technical Focus (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

  • Strategic identification and pre-selection of potential suppliers in the "New Energies" sector with a focus on technical innovations and long-term supplier relationships
  • Negotiation of contracts and conditions with suppliers, taking into account technical specifications and economic conditions
  • Support of the purchasing manager and representation in technical matters with technical expertise
  • Conducting supplier evaluations and implementing optimization measures, considering technical criteria
  • Continuous support and maintenance of supplier relationships with a technical focus
  • Ensuring smooth processing of orders, taking into account technical requirements
  • Close collaboration with development and product management in the market launch of new products with technical understanding

Your profile:

  • Completed technical education (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering)
  • Commercial additional qualification (e.g. industrial clerk) or degree in business administration, industrial engineering or similar
