Description
Patient Care CoordinatorLHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator for our healthcare client located in Portland. This role will be a contract to hire opportunity and 100% onsite in Northeast Portland, full-time hours.
The role will be providing a high level of customer service to patients, insurances, and providers and will be focused on obtaining insurance verifications and prior authorizations for our client's patients.
This will be a high-volume role and interested candidates must be comfortable corresponding with a variety of contacts.Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2 years medical administration, including insurance verification and prior authorization experience
Must be proficient in EMR Systems and Microsoft Office
Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially over the phone
Able to work in high-volume, fast-paced enviornment and adapt when needed
Ability to work well independently, or as a team player when asked
Works well under pressure and can meet deadlines
Able to work well with a wide array of contacts, including but not limited to insurance companies, patients, and providers
Pay Details:
$20.00 to $23.00 per hour
