Job Field:
As part of the project to replace our mainframe, our team has implemented the Micro Focus Enterprise Server program.

Your main tasks will include the administration and configuration of Micro Focus Enterprise Server or Enterprise Developers, performing patches and updates of the Enterprise Server software, and developing scripts to support administration.

Additionally, you will be responsible for creating security concepts in compliance with BSI security guidelines.


Your Responsibilities:


You will be responsible for the administration of the Micro Focus Enterprise Server or Enterprise Developer product and will serve as the technical contact for internal application developers.


Your main tasks will include:

  • Design and operation of the Micro Focus ES or ED product
  • Development of testing and automation scripts
  • Monitoring software and troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Liaising with the manufacturer for complex requirements
  • Collaborating in project and working groups

Your Profile:

  • Completed vocational training in the IT field or a completed university degree (Bachelor, Diploma FH) in the IT field or equivalent qualification (e.g. ITspecific qualification) or comparable professional experience in the IT field
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the IT field
  • Practical experience in the IBM mainframe environment (e.g. JCL, Cobol, DB2)
  • Excellent knowledge of system administration of Micro Focus Enterprise Server or Enterprise Developer on Linux or Windows
  • Selforganized, independent, and structured work style required
