Currently, around engineers work with us to realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, train stations, tracks, and signal systems - but that's not nearly enough.

As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you can plan, manage, or supervise something that will remain:
the infrastructure for future generations.


We are currently looking for an engineer as a contract and claim manager (m/f/d) for DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH at the Karlsruhe or Stuttgart location, starting as soon as possible.


Your tasks:

  • Together with the project management, you will manage the contract and claim management and review any claims in terms of their basis; you always keep the requirements of the client in mind.
  • You review tender documents/contracts for construction services for construction supervision and plausibility.
  • You participate in claim negotiations and reliably handle their preparation and followup; in addition, you implement negotiation results in the interest of project success.
  • Conducting contract control and management for construction supervision services is also part of your responsibilities, as well as early detection of potential claim situations.
  • You handle contractrelated correspondence and respond to, for example, additional cost notifications.
  • You always keep an eye on the development of contracts and claims.

Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed a degree in civil engineering, construction management, real estate management, or a comparable field
