Job Duties
The Office of Bar Counsel has an immediate opening for an experienced paralegal to provide administrative and litigation support to bar counsel, while performing duties that support the overall efficiency of the office.
At the direction of bar counsel and other attorneys, the paralegal will provide comprehensive support for the Standing Committee on Lawyer Discipline (COLD) and subcommittees; perform special administrative projects; and complete assigned casework.
Minimum Qualifications
strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs and Adobe
- experience using case management systems
- dependable, proactive, and able to maintain a high degree of professionalism
- able to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment
- able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- comfortable working under pressure within tight deadlines
- satisfactory completion of criminal background check
