The Opportunity ...:

JBT Corporation creates industrial food processing equipment for global customers.

You will work on the Tipper Tie Packaging equipment product line.

As the Quality Engineer you will report to the Quality Manager.

On a given day, you will:

Analyze product failure to identify causes and determine countermeasures with cause and corrective action.
Design tests and specify inspection and testing methods.
Analyze blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine regulatory compliance.
Participate in Kaizen and other Continuous Improvement programs.
Use DMAIC, 5-Whys, Fishbone, to determine root cause.
Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and shop practices
Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems
Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actions
Develop pictorial work instructions for assemblies
Monitor product quality and analyze data to determine areas that need improvement.
Improve the reliability and maintainability of all products to ensure customer satisfaction and to meet our our goals.
Participate in supplier's failure/diagnosis and Material Review Board(MRB) activities.
Analyze supplier performance based on given metrics and flow findings back to supply chain for cause corrective action.
Provide ISO 9001 and 14001 audit support.

BS in Mechanical, Process, Industrial, Quality, or Manufacturing Engineering Required.

2 years' experience working in a quality role within an ISO manufacturing environment required.

Understanding of non-conformances, root cause/corrective action, and performing material and equipment inspections required.

Travel only on occasion for training or scheduled company events- less than 10%

100% onsite role NOT Hybrid
