Job description
We are currently looking for a coach to run our tennis lessons.

We are a year round academy that primarily teaches after school classes to beginner and intermediates between ages 5-14yrs in Burlingame, CA.

We looking for someone who can teach some or all of the following schedule:

Sundays 9:00-5:00 with a lunch break from 12-1pm. 7 paid hours.

More hours may become available in the future.

We provide all of the equipment, and training you would need to run effective, dynamic and fun classes.

Class size:
The maximum number of students you would have in a class is 6. As coaches we are passionate about seeing our students excel.

Our low coach/student ratio empowers you to give personal attention to each student and give the feedback that can help take their game to the next level.

Classes:

Our focus in our kids classes is that our students would grow in character more than their tennis ability.

Students are all ages and abilities, but the majority are beginner kids, so a love for working with that type of student is a must The classes will be a mix of private and group lessons.

Schedule:
We are looking for a coach who would be able to start ASAP. We are looking for someone who can teach Sundays year round. It is ok to miss occasional Sundays due to vacations or other conflicts with prior communication.

Coaches must be able to do an in person demo lesson as part of the interview process, so local applicants only please.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School playing experience required. No previous coaching experience required. Must be able to play at the 4.0 level.

Compensation:
$45-$55/hr based on experience and qualifications. This is a private contractor position.

Requirements (Coaches):Must enjoy working with kids and manage a class in a professional manner. Must be flexible, reliable, punctual, professional and has an enthusiastic approach. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills. Must carry a resilient, positive attitude. Must be able to work independently and within a small team. Must have own reliable transportationWilling to do a background check prior to working. Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.
