    SUMMARY

    STATUS: Full Time
    LOCATION: Elmgrove Lab, 160 Elmgrove Park, Rochester, NY 14624
    DEPARTMENT: Licensed Lab
    SCHEDULE: Evening/Night 5:30pm to 2:30am | Rotating Saturday Coverage
    ATTRIBUTES
    • BS in Medical Technology
    OR
    • BS in a related Science and/or equivalent relevant experience as recognized by New York State Department of Education for licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
    • Previous experience in a Clinical or Pathology Laboratory is advantageous but not mandatory.
    • Certification by American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) is desirable but not obligatory.
    • Strong communication and assessment skills
    • Exceptional documentation skills and keen attention to detail
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Analysis & Reporting. Perform precise specimen analysis, report results accurately, troubleshoot deviations, and maintain logs diligently
    • Training & Development. Aid in training new staff, evaluate progress, and recommend enhancements
    • Evaluation. Continuously assess work processes, propose improvements, and monitor inventory
    EDUCATION:
    LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    M - Medium Work - Involves exerting force occasionally, frequent walking, standing, or squatting
