- Oversees daily operations at a construction site
- Leads daily morning meetings with the entire crew
- Hires, trains, and manages construction workers
- Follows construction drawings and approved plans
- Uses popular construction management software
- Orders necessary equipment, tools, and materials
- Helps to set and stick to the budget and schedule
- Writes daily logs and other necessary documentation
- Makes sure all local, state, and national business codes and regulations are followed
- Ensures that the team adheres to all company policies and safety protocols
- 5+ years of experience as the Lead Superintendent on ground-up commercial construction projects - multifamily, health-care, and/or higher-education sectors - oversight of various scopes of work ranging from foundation, structure and facade through MEP to interior rough and finish
