- You will demonstrate responsibility and accountability in recognizing and identifying potential and actual patient problems, collecting accurate data and participate in the patient's Place of Care in accordance with the department/unit's standards.

- High school or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited School or Cardiovascular Technology and/or RCIS Certification and/or ARRT IR.
- Two years experience in licensed field and one year cardiac cath lab experience.
- LPN one year experience with Critical Care course within one year of hire or one year Cath Lab experience or one year RCIS or CVT or Graduate of accredited RCVT program.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills

Job Summary and QualificationsWe are currently seeking a Cardiovascular Technician II to join our team. As our Cardiovascular Technician, you will assist in cardiac catheterization, as well as vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will also perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization procedure – IAB and temporary pacer insertion. You will follow established standards and practices under the direction of a credentialed invasive cardiologist, or credentialed invasive radiologist. HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is a 340 bed hospital. We serve Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties. We offer specialty services including surgical, oncology and thoracic surgery. We have heart, vascular, behavioral health and obstetrics services. Our obstetrics services include a NICU and maternal fetal medicine. We offer ER 24/7 facilities to the surrounding areas for emergency services. We have been recognized as a leapfrog grade 'A' for patient safety. We are an advanced certified primary stroke center. We have earned the Joint Commission's gold seal for total hips and total knees certification. Our oncology program is an accredited community cancer program.
