The Deutsche Saatveredelung AG (DSV) is an internationally active company in the seed industry with approximately 800 employees in Germany and abroad. Our headquarters are located in Lippstadt, with numerous regional offices, branches, and seed breeding stations throughout Germany. Our areas of expertise range from practical plant breeding of agricultural crops to seed production and distribution.

We are currently seeking a Plant Technologist (m/f/d) for our seed breeding station in Leutewitz on a permanent basis, starting as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:

As a Plant Technologist (m/f/d), you will be involved in the breeding and testing of winter rapeseed. Your tasks will include:

  • Technical support of breeding material in greenhouses and field plots
  • Supervision of small groups of employees as a team leader (m/f/d)
  • Operation of harvesting machines, seed cleaning machines, and seed preparation equipment
  • Recording of characteristics in field trials and documentation of data

Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed your training as a Plant Technologist (m/f/d) or have a comparable qualification
  • You have a passion for plant breeding and possess knowledge of basic principles
