Job Overview:
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.

As the first point of contact for our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.

This is a full-time position in an office setting.


Duties:


  • Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
  • Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect copayments
  • Maintain patient records and update necessary information in electronic systems such as eClinicalWorks
  • Assist with medical administrative support tasks as needed
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and wellstocked

Experience:


  • Previous experience working in a front desk or customer service role preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and office procedures is a plus
  • Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
  • Knowledge of electronic medical record systems such as eClinicalWorks is desirable

Skills:


  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and visitors
  • Detailoriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations

$ $18.00 per hour

  • Charlottesville, VA 22911: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
