Up to 10%Type of Travel: Local* * * CACI is looking for a strong Staff Accountant to join out Corporate Accounting function.

This role will be based in Reston, VA and will allow for remote work and occasional office visits.

What You'll Get to Do:
Responsible for the general financial accounting and reporting activities of the organization.

Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including:
Prepare and record journal entriesPrepare monthly account reconciliationsEnsure all internal and external financial reporting deadlines are metReview, analyze and adjust journal entries when necessaryAssist with financial statement audit processAssist with the accounting for leases in accordance with ASC 842Collaborate with manager to ensure a complete and accurate month-end closeMaintain accurate process and procedures for all reports and tasksAnswer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting dataMonitor compliance with company policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company proceduresYou'll

Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field3+ years of related Accounting experienceKnowledge of GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles), accounting principles, and industry best practicesExperience with using Deltek CostpointThese Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:Experience using Workday and Cognos reportingProfessional experience in a government contracting environment
