- Plans and establishes work schedules, and assignments to meet production goals.
- Hires, trains, and evaluates production personnel.
- Prepares and maintains production reports and personnel records.
- Monitors production tracking and quality control systems.
- Reviews operations and confers with administrative staff to resolve procedural problems.
- Trains and develops supervisors.
- Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Regular attendance and punctuality is required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Some college is preferred.
- Basic PC skills are required.
- Proficient in word processing and spreadsheets.
- English/Spanish bilingual a plus.
- Food manufacturing plant.
- The environment may be wet or dry and temperatures may range from 25F to 110F.
- Lifting, kneeling, and bending with packages in excess of 50 lbs.
- Travel up to 10% of the time.
- Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.
