As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to support the design and implementation of space-based systems to deliver resilient, affordable, and sustainable space capabilities.
Your te chn ical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize Global Positioning Systems( GPS ) . You'll develop your skills in developing and acquiring space systems while gaining experience with delivering sustained, reliable GPS capabilities to America's warfighters, our allies, and civil users. Grow your skills by merging space vehicle development and acquisition to develop client solutions, assess te chn ical designs, and test programs. You Have:
7+ years of experience with space vehicle systems engineering, planning, integration, and testing
7+ years of experience with systems engineering, planning, integration, and testing of communications antennas, transmitters, or receivers of a payload
3+ years of experience with reviews of space systems, including SRR, SDR and SFR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FCA and SVR, MRR, or PCA and the DoD acquisition system
Ability to be highly motivated, have a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission
Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients and contractor teammates
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
Nice If
You Have:
10+ years of experience with space vehicle systems engineering, planning, integration, and testing
Experience with computer tools, including Confluence or JIRA
Experience with systems engineering, planning, integration, and testing of at least two subsystems and its components, including structural, power, attitude control, thermal, propulsion, and communication
Knowledge of DoD systems engineering, test, and production
policies
and practices
Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186, annualized USD).The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
