Responsibilities:

- Offer personalized support and comfort to meet patient's specific needs
- Coordinate with caregivers for optimal patient care delivery
- Assist in medication administration
- Address sudden disease symptoms effectively
- Alert physicians when necessary regarding patient's condition
- Help patients and families with necessary paperwork
- Maintain detailed and precise medical records
- Provide support to family members in coping with bereavement and offer posthumous assistance
Skills:
- Demonstrated background as a hospice or registered nurse
- Familiarity with nursing care protocols and medication guidelines/side effects
- Commitment to adhering to safety measures and ethical practices
- Proficiency in English
- Strong decision-making skills and keen attention to detail
- Exceptional communication abilities combined with a compassionate demeanor
- Calm, patient, and composed under pressure
- Emotional and mental resilience with enduring stamina
- Formal nursing education; additional certification as a hospice nurse is advantageous
- Valid CPR certification
