**The Program Support Specialist will:**

actively recruit to provide a continuous flow of SLP Homes into the training and certification process through attending community events and networking

with other KVC staff, meet with families to assess their skills and needs as well as ensure their full compliance with DHHS regulations

secure placements by developing positive working relationships with referral sources including facilitating pre-placement visits to make long-lasting placement matches

work with training department to set up special trainings for providers on topics related to providing care of Individuals with Developmental Disabilities

**Qualifications:**

High School Diploma or GED required.

A Bachelors Degree in Social Work or related field is preferred.

Exception to education requirement may be considered with relevant and significant personal and/or professional experience.

Two plus years of Developmental Disabilities, Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice, and/or Mental Health Assessment and Treatment experience.

Qualified applicants must be at least 21 years of age or older, have a valid driver's license and car insurance.
