Accountable for securing a smooth transition and readiness of our Hand Tools, Crimpers and Anvils (other products if/as assigned) to our new strategic partners.

He/She will be the single point of contact on all related Procurement topics for these products to the business transformation project management team.


Responsibilities:


  • Procurement project manager for "Raven project" assigned portfolio.

Flawless execution and successful suppliers' management and integration:
till SOP and 3-6months post SOP support.

  • Manage suppliers' capacity, manage all commercial aspects, all contracts and support our partners to ramp up to the TE expected levels
  • Liase with Supply Chain dept for ensuring physical flows are defined, and total landed costs covered. Plus, monitor that required planning and inventory levels are met with suppliers
  • Responsible to represent Procurement with cross functional teams such as Project Management, Engineering, Finance, Quality, and Operations, for the assigned portfolio
  • Actively participate to achieve the objectives/targets regarding Supplier Quality, Delivery and Material Productivity. Contribute to Procurement metrics to the extended team Americas KPIs performance
  • Leads and executes the Sourcing Steps
  • RFQ process
  • Clears the path to issues related with supply disruptions
  • Ensures and promotes adherence to global processes, policies, procedures, best practices within TE and extensive to supply base

What your background should look like:

  • +5-8 years' Experience in field
  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Finance/Economics preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management knowledge and experience
  • Negotiation and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of ERP systems as applicable to planning & purchasing
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of financial costing of product
