The Zwickau District Office is currently seeking several social workers for the Guardianship Office (f/m/d) under the code number 174/2023/DII in the Department of Youth, Social Affairs and Education for the Social Welfare Office/Department of Disability Law.


  • Two fulltime positions with 39 hours per week
  • One parttime position with at least 28 hours per week
  • Salary classification in pay group S 11b TVöD-VKA (depending on qualifications)
  • Employment duration: permanent
  • Start date: as soon as possible
The hiring is subject to the entry into force of the staffing plan 2023/2024.


Your responsibilities:


  • Advice and support for guardians, including:
  • Point of contact for all questions regarding existing and future guardianships
  • Counseling in conflict situations
  • Referral to social services
  • Assistance with applying for social benefits
  • Assistance with enforcing civil law claims
  • Assistance with the duties of the guardian towards the guardianship court
  • Assistance with the application process for
