Maimonides Medical Center is currently seeking Part Time
Central Sterile Technicians to join our fast-paced Operating Room, as you

  • Assist with maintaining an orderly, safe and clean work area and environment.
  • Assist in the care, preparation and maintenance of instruments, medical devices and equipment; inspects instruments/equipment for quality and repair needs; reports malfunctions immediately to supervisor.
  • Completes recommended process to sterilize/ high disinfect all instruments and surgical devices according to policy and/or manufacturers specifications; utilizes departmental clinical systems and software to track items processed and ensure quality of finished product.

We require:

HS diploma or equivalent required:


  • Graduate from accredited Central Sterilization Technician Program required:

Central Sterilization Technician Certification required:

  • 1 year related Sterile Tech experience in field preferred
  • Good English written & verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of _Censitrac_ preferred.

Pay:
$27.19 per hour
