- Prepares general ledger entries (journal entries) with a strong attention to detail in maintaining records and files, and assist with monthly and year-end close processes.
- Supports the monthly close process with emphasis on continuous improvement in striving to make tasks better and perform research and documentation of accounting processes.
- In performing the account reconciliations, it may be imperative to handle certain analytics during end of month and annual accounting closes.
- Maintains and balances an EDI systems tie out by inputting and verifying the data.
- Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in recording transactional entries, documents and review of monthly financial reports of cost centers as assigned.
- Assists with the internal and external audit schedules. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in accounting required, plus 1 year related experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively meet deadlines. CPA candidate a plus.

Job DescriptionProvides the accounting management team with the financial information by researching and analyzing accounts; ensures that transactions meets regulatory and compliance control and works closely with accounting team.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, members, employees of the organization, customers, and the general public.
