Job summary
Akima is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive in support of its Emerging Markets Group EMG. The candidate will formulate and execute strategy develop and qualify a pipeline of Army IT opportunities to support new information technology business services.
Responsibilities
- Formulating and executing strategy pipeline development
- Developing customer-focused solutions
- Maintaining customer relationships working with executive staff for pursuit approvals supporting proposal development driving revenues exceeding assigned targets leading interdisciplinary teams identifying key growth areas developing new IT business aligned company campaigns providing business development advice delivery leads negotiating teaming agreements contracts aiding briefing bid no-bid recommendations pursuit capture strategies associated business cases managing responses government market research inquiries attending industry events participating thought leadership initiatives shaping acquisition strategies delivering presentations communicating internal external audiences supporting Capture Manager large strategic bids Total Contract Value $50M$200M+
