- Dispatch work assignments to technicians and ensure that all allocated work is performed in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
- Communicates professionally and provides updates on customer repairs as needed to service advisors and the parts department
- Maintain and update service records, including work orders, repair logs, and customer information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with other departments or teams, such as parts procurement or customer service, to facilitate smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Follow the Hertrich Fix-It-Right-the-First-Time philosophy
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Minimum of 4 years as a skilled service advisor, skilled as a service dispatcher, Dealership experience preferred
- Comfortable with RO's, Dealership CSI requirements
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Excellent technical knowledge and expertise in automotive, machinery, or relevant mechanical systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license with minimal/no points
- High School Diploma / GED required
