    Job Title: Sales Director (Cloud)

    Offer: $120k - $150k base + commission + equity/profit share + benefits (401k, healthcare etc.)

    Location: Hybrid/Remote - candidates need to be able to attend monthly meetings in North Texas

    Type: Full-time

    About: This role is with a small, but fast-growing Microsoft & AWS Partner, currently specializing in delivering enterprise-scale cloud transformations. They are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join their leadership team. This individual will play a critical role in shaping sales strategies and driving business growth within the cloud transformation space.

    As the inaugural member of the sales team, the Sales Director will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the sales function. This will include developing and implementing effective sales models, spearheading business development initiatives, and establishing a robust sales pipeline. The Sales Director will further down the line, have the opportunity to build and lead a Cloud sales team.

    What you'll be doing...

    Strategic Prospecting and Lead Generation:

    • Contribute towards the design of a multi revenue stream sales strategy and implement.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, in-depth market research, and strategic networking.
    • Employ a multi-channel approach, incorporating cold calling, targeted email campaigns, and leveraging social media to cultivate leads and establish a robust sales pipeline.

    Client Engagement:

    • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to gain a profound understanding of clients' challenges and objectives.
    • Foster and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations.
    • Present the diverse portfolio of products and services with precision, effectively showcasing their value proposition to potential clients.

    Solution Selling:

    • Collaborate closely with internal technical and pre-sales teams to craft and present customized IT solutions that precisely align with clients' unique requirements.
    • Develop and deliver compelling proposals and quotes that not only address specific client needs but also position yourself as the preferred and trusted technology partner.

    Negotiation and Closing:

    • Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring the achievement of mutually beneficial agreements.
    • Execute efficient deal closures, consistently meeting or surpassing ambitious sales targets.

    Requirements:

    • Senior level experience in a sales / business development role within the Microsoft/AWS Partner, Cloud Consultancy or MSP
    • This role is going to be best suited to somebody who enjoys taking on a high level of responsibility and freedom; a self-starter who can help shape their own role.
    • It's necessary for you to have a good technical understanding of; Azure/AWS cloud transformation projects, M365 and wider Microsoft products.
