    Java Software Engineer- 100% in-office- relocation not offered

    $90,000 to $120,000

    Birmingham, AL

    Join a vibrant development team and play a central role in shaping the future of a company's new products. You'll leverage your expertise in back-end and front-end languages to build, improve, and seamlessly connect crucial software components.

    Here's your chance to:

    • Be the Bridge Builder: Design and develop moderately complex interfaces that connect our ERP systems with legacy software, ensuring smooth data flow and efficient operations.
    • Master of Many Languages: Apply your proficiency in back-end languages (ASP, Java, Perl, C++) and front-end scripting (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS) to optimize performance, scalability, and security.
    • Quality Champion: Actively monitor application health and performance, conducting thorough testing and maintenance to keep everything running smoothly. Stay ahead of the curve by catching and resolving issues in existing code.

    You're a perfect fit if you:

    • Have 3-5 years of experience wielding both back-end and front-end languages (think ASP, Java, Perl, C++, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS) or possess an equivalent skillset.
    • Can juggle multiple tasks like a pro, meeting deadlines without breaking a sweat.
    • Communicate clearly and concisely, even when explaining complex technical concepts to colleagues.
    • Have a history of debugging, integrating, or enhancing applications – bonus points if you've faced similar challenges
    • Are familiar with APIs and DB2 databases (preferred, but not required).
    • Have experience working in a SAFe Agile environment (a big plus).
