The primary function of the Business Affairs Assistant is to efficiently support Business Affairs executives in their day-to-day job responsibilities, while demonstrating an ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Solid time management and multi-tasking skills are essential.

Position requires an individual who is highly organized, exhibits excellent judgment, is a self-starter and has an ability to work with a high level of detail, while interfacing with a variety of creative clients and high-level executives (internally and externally).

A high degree of confidentiality and discretion are expected in regards to all matters and documents.


_ Essential Responsibilities:
_


  • Identify applicable precedent from existing database
  • Draft basic form agreements using templates and relevant precedent for review by Business Affairs executives
  • Be primarily responsible for formal correspondence such as agency package letters and letters exercising options for services of production companies and talent
  • Run relevant document comparisons
  • Schedule meetings and phone calls
  • Distribute and upload documents for completed deals
  • Process expense reports, arrange travel, and other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Maintaining and updating of fee charts, project lists and status reports.
  • Participate in updating data management systems
  • Developing and implementing office systems and procedures, which support the overall department's needs and those of the executives to which this position reports.
  • Act as liaison with all internal and external offices. Ability to strategically problem solve and find solutions, as required.
  • Manage special projects as designated, specifically, dealing with administrative and coordination issues.
  • May provide administrative support to other members of the Business Affairs team.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications**:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years of experience at a media company, law firm or adjacent industry
  • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

  • Experience in media (preferably at a studio or network) supporting senior executives preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Highly motivated selfstarter

Eligibility Requirements:


  • Must have work authorization to work in the United States

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.


This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.

Salary range:
$41,600 - $52,000.
