Position Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers visiting the Lakeland, FL dealership location.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct thorough product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of Nationwide Haul's equipment.
- Actively prospect and generate leads through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
- Collaborate with the finance and leasing departments to facilitate seamless transactions for customers.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to maintain a competitive edge.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by management.
- Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely delivery and aftersales support for customers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in trucking equipment sales, preferably in semitruck and semitrailer sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of financing and leasing options within the trucking industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
