- Familiar with typical inspection equipment (Microscopic Vision Systems, Optical Comparator, Keyence, Dial Indicator, Depth Micrometer, Micrometer, Caliper, Insertion/Extraction Force, go/no go thread/plug gages, etc.
- Strong GD&T knowledge, including reading and interpreting blueprints
- IATF 16949 & ISO 9001 Certifications (understanding of requirements, auditing, etc)
- APQP, PPAP"s, FMEAS, Control Plans, CAPA, SPC, Inspection Plans, Fit & Function Testing, and Continual Improvement
- Comfortable working directly with customers and upper management

- Familiar with implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of manufacturing process, processes, products, and production equipment.
- Has worked in the metal stamping/forming/machining industry with knowledge of heat treating and plating/coating
- Handling of root cause investigations using 8D and 5Y methodologies along with Implementing of CAPAs from start to finish
- Understanding of calibration, documentation control, auditing
- 3-5 years of experience working as a Quality Engineer
- Education: B.S Mechanical, Quality Engineering or Equivalent
- Strong knowledge of relevant software, quality assurance methods, tools and quality manufacturing processes
