Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Specialist demonstrates advanced and specialized clinical knowledge and skills to facilitate the provision of patient / family-focused care to promote health and/or well-being improve quality of life; drive practice changes throughout the organization, and ensure use of evidence-based care to improve patient outcomes.
This individual provides expertise and support either directly or indirectly by influencing patients/families, nurses/nursing practice, and organization/systems through direct care, leadership, coaching, research, ethical decision making, collaboration, and consultation.
