Job DescriptionOptometric Technician/Assistant
Eye Associates of Elkins Park, a full-scope medical optometric practice, is looking for a new member of our team. Duties will include patient pretesting as well as diagnostic testing, preparing and assisting patients for and during eye exams, and assisting patients with contact lens education. Familiarity with insurances will also be expected (but don't worry, we will train.) We use a variety of sophisticated diagnostic tools and electronic health records. So, we are looking for someone who enjoys that kind of work, because at the end of the day, we want to have fun while we are fulfilling our obligation to deliver the highest quality of care possible.
The scope of the practice:
General eye exams and Contact Lenses
Dry eye Disease
Cataract management/co-management
Myopia Management
Glaucoma management/co-management
Retinal disease management/co-management
Keratoconus/ Sclerals
