Essential Job Functions of the F&I Manager are as follows:

  • Responsible for training and coaching Dealership Finance Managers to peak performance
  • Knows and can train all aspects of Finance compliance
  • Assists dealerships in getting finance contracts approved and funded
  • Knows the lender programs and can assist in placement of contracts while maximizing F&I PVR
  • Knows our F&I products and can train the features and benefits
  • Assists training the sales desk in structuring deals
  • Knows and can instruct all F&I office process and flow of contracts
  • Manages contracts in transit with dealerships and assists in ensuring funding with communication with Finance Managers
  • Tracks and monitors F&I PVR, product penetration and lender penetration goals
  • Participates weekly in Division/Mkt Manager meetings regarding F&I training and issues
  • Can assists in sales staff training
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Essential Job Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 35 years of successful performance in the Finance Office
  • Deep understanding regarding knowledge in Finance and Insurance products
  • Menu selling experience and understanding is required
  • Business management experience in the automobile industry is a plus
  • Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
  • Strong Closing skills are necessary
  • Expected hours 8am6pm
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to travel when it's safe to travel
  • Valid driver's license
