Job Description Primary Function of Position**: This role oversees material movement, storage, tracking, and shipment for field service. It includes Domestic and International orders.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Hire, train, develop, and motivate direct reports to follow procedures, dept. Goals and productivity requirements.
  • Evaluate and give yearly feedback to employees to ensure they meet performance standards through coaching and mentoring.
  • Implement Short-Term Problem Containment and Long-Term Corrective Action for Missed Shipments and Delayed Receipts.
  • Create process flows to provide a better understanding of the requirements.
  • Examine and correct Shipping issues related to Service Distribution Centers and Forward Stocking Locations.
  • Provide detailed root cause analysis and update KPIs and metrics.
  • Provide vision and direction to the workgroup and drive training to Lean Material flow practices.
  • Ensure that company procedures, including SOX and FDA requirements, are followed and adhered to.
  • Drive continuous improvement of current processes and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the value stream opportunities.
  • Optimize department efficiencies through capacity studies and examination of workloads.
  • Responsible for the development of reports providing reliable information about status of planned goals, projects and tasks.
  • Participate on crossfunctional teams to drive department needs and continuous improvements.
  • Reviews and reports monthly operational expenses related to shipment cost, storage cost or any other Logistics related expenses
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy in designated storage locations.
  • Maintain department operating procedures (DOPs) and work instructions. Perform other projects or duties that may be assigned
  • Able to provide backup to Manager(s) during their absence
  • Maintain an excellent attendance record
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications Skills, Experience, Education, & Training**:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree and five years of equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum eight years of working experience with Associate Degree.
  • Excellent documentation skills and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrates analytically inspired problemsolving ability
  • Business process knowledge of Global Logistics.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, able to handle multiple tasks autonomously and under pressure.
  • Proven capabilities to develop and balance immediate\/longterm priorities with appropriate urgency to meet deadlines and exceptional multitasking skills.
  • Be proactive in addressing issues, showing initiative and persistence to make significant changes, and embracing new ideas openly.
  • Must have a solid dedication to excellence and customer satisfaction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven collaborator and ability to influence without authority, gaining support and trust across the organization to achieve agreedupon business outcomes.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to work in the warehouse environment.
  • Extended standing and Walking

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • APICS Certification is desirable.
