Job Summary

The Service Technician will run diagnostic tests and perform basic repairs and routine maintenance on golf cars.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Duties/Responsibilities

Check fluid levels
Mount and Rotate tires
Complete routine maintenance, change oil and other fluids
Replace or charge batteries, replace belts
Run diagnostic tests
Test functionality of parts
Perform basic repairs
Provide labor and time estimates
Document processes and service repairs using a computer
Produce timely and detailed service reports using Aspen Software
Clock in and out of job orders
Providing service and customer support during field visits
Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions
Maintain a clean and safe working area
Follow company standard operating procedures
Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
Build positive relationships with customers while out in the field
Other duties may be assigned by management as needed

Required Skills/Abilities

Mechanical skills
Experience in electrical background low to medium voltage
Ability to troubleshoot, repair and test technical equipment
Attention to detail
Ability to travel and work according to a changing schedule
Customer service skills
Experience with both mechanical and hydraulic brakes systems
Experience in custom fabrication a plus but not required
Willing to work overtime as needed

Education and Experience

3 years or more experience in Motorsports, Automotive industry
High School diploma or equivalent
Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred but not required
Valid driver's license
ASE certification a plus but not required
