I am 40 years old and have never exercised before. I walk for about 45 minutes occasionally throughout the year. I have two children and often do not have time or someone to leave them with. I work in the mornings as a teacher, which is not physically demanding but can be mentally taxing. I have abdominal diastasis and am being treated by specialists for chronic pelvic pain. I am advised not to jump or do exercises that put pressure on my abdomen, such as sit-ups.
