    Description

    The Department of Neurology is in search of a Research Program Manager who will be responsible for coordinating work plans with 20+ clinical sites nationwide to support the clinical trial research objectives of the BIOS Clinical Trials Coordinating Center (CTCC).

    Key responsibilities include training and overseeing clinical and data entry staff at various collaborating sites regarding trial cycle metrics, protocol adherence, and ensuring regulatory compliance at local, institutional, and federal levels across the collaboration network.


    Key Responsibilities & Duties

    • Establish proactive communication channels with clinical teams for timely activation.
    • Drive subject accrual and monthly enrollment targets across all sites.
    • Assist in evaluating sites for essential local resources needed for successful enrollment and protocol adherence.
    • Support sites in IRB on-boarding and submission processes.
    • Monitor site performance and assist in addressing recruitment challenges.
    • Conduct regular teleconferences with clinical teams and mentor new coordinators.
    • Ensure enrollments align with performance expectations.
    • Provide quality assurance support for communication and management of clinical teams.
    • Manage project processes to ensure on-time delivery within budget and high quality standards.
    • Develop project plans, assign tasks, monitor progress, and manage resources effectively.
    • Cultivate investigator relationships and facilitate stakeholder meetings.
    • Document project milestones and deliverables, develop SOPs, and assist in study monitoring.
    • Utilize data analysis to drive decision-making and enhance performance insights.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    • Proficiency in clinical trial designs and execution.
    • Strong knowledge of GCP/ICH and local regulations.
    • Experience with web-based data collection tools.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.
    • Willingness to learn new software applications.
    • Effective leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.


    Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
    • Five years of relevant experience with supervisory duties.
    • Project/process lifecycle experience.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Master's Degree preferred.
    • Formal project management expertise.
    • Minimum of 2 years of direct project management experience.
    • Experience in academic medical environments.
    • Proficiency in GCP/ICH and web-based data collection.

    Classified Title: Research Program Manager
    Role/Level/Range: ACRP/04/MD
    Starting Salary Range: $55,200 - $96,600 Annually ($75,900 targeted; Commensurate with experience)
    Employee group: Full Time
    Schedule: M-F 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
    Exempt Status: Exempt
