    Job Description

    Job DescriptionSeeking passionate Patient Care Techs with Flexible Schedule who are committed to delivering great patient care to hospital patients. This is an opportunity to work alongside our nursing, respiratory and rehabilitation teams in an acute-care setting.

    Landmark Hospital values our Patient Care Techs as a significant part of the care of our patients as they journey toward healing.

    Looking for individuals with flexibility in scheduling. We are looking for Full time and PRN.

    • Perform basic care skills under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse including vital signs, intake/output measurement, catheter care, CPR, restraint management, bowel and bladder training and documentation of care in the patient record.
    • Responsible for assisting the licensed nurse in meeting the patients' needs in the areas of personal hygiene, personal care, skin care, grooming, rest, activity, nourishment, body mechanics, elimination, and psychosocial support.

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma/GED
    • Certification (Certified Nursing Assistant for State of Missouri) Preferred
    • Current BLS-required
    • 1-3 years of related experience
    • Long term acute care/hospital experience preferred
    • Must be organized, a team player and detail-oriented
