Job Overview:

The position of Cottage Supervisor at our company plays a crucial role in providing support to individuals dealing with behavioral health challenges. As a key member of the residential treatment team, the Cottage Supervisor oversees and guides the residential psych techs within their assigned cottage. They work with individuals facing issues related to addiction, substance abuse, and mental health, understanding the impact of trauma on their development. The ideal candidate will embrace a compassionate and optimistic approach, promoting a philosophy of dual recovery while implementing trauma-informed care practices. Reporting to the Turnaround Ranch Operations Supervisor, the Cottage Supervisor contributes significantly to creating a safe and supportive environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all child care activities as per policies, procedures, and State regulations.
• Develop and manage staff schedules and training programs to meet regulatory requirements.
• Resolve conflicts between staff and clients effectively.
• Participate in and lead weekly cottage treatment team meetings alongside the therapist and TCM.
• Address environmental, daily living, and operational issues by communicating promptly with the Operations Supervisor.
• Manage all necessary documentation at the cottage.
• Perform additional tasks as delegated.

Physical Requirements:

• Tasks may include extended periods of sitting, frequent standing, bending, and occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds).
• Must have normal hearing and manual dexterity to operate various office equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure and during irregular hours.
• Completion of a TB test upon employment.
