Positions in this function performs a variety of duties involving clinical and administrative patient care while adhering to the standards of the practice.

Provide care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Assist in the examination and treatment of patients by taking and recording vital signs such as blood pressures, temperatures, height, weight, etc.

Assist physician and others with simple to moderate clinical/diagnostic procedures such as urine cultures, pregnancy tests, throat cultures, etc. Prepare treatment rooms. Perform a variety of clerical functions to support office functions. Perform related duties to facilitate the efficient utilization of computer-based information.


Schedule: 38.75 hours per week, Monday - Friday between 7:30AM - 5PM


Location: 28 Newton St, Southborough, MA 01772.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Medical Assistants performs a variety of duties involving clinical and administrative patient care while adhering to the standards of the practice
  • Assists in the examination and treatment of geriatric patients by taking and recording vital signs such as blood pressures, temperatures, height, weight, etc.
  • Assists physician and others with simple to complex clinical/diagnostic procedures such as urine cultures, blood glucose, throat cultures, etc.
  • Prepares treatment rooms
  • Performs a variety of clerical functions to support office functions
  • Performs related duties to facilitate the efficient utilization of computerbased information

Required Qualifications:


  • High School diploma or GED
  • Medical Assistant education or Medical Assistant experience (experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or EMT meets this qualification)
  • CPR/BLS certification or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Certified or registered Medical Assistant
  • Proven knowledge of office and laboratory procedures
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
